White Flowers join Doves, Echo & The Bunnymen and Badly Drawn Boy at Gunnersville on Friday 6th September in Gunnersbury Park.

Your day watching Doves‘ last show of the year at Gunnersville on Friday 6th September just got bigger as we’re proud to announce up-and-coming duo, White Flowers, have been added to the line up.

Hailing from Preston, White Flowers’ sound immerses you in rich synth layered soundscapes and haunting vocals that recall Anna Calvi. The duo’s hotly-anticipated debut album is set to be released in early 2020. The record was produced by Doves’ guitarist, Jez Williams, and recorded in his own Manchester studio.

Listen to the first single from White Flowers’ debut album, ‘Porta’, when it’s released this September and live at Gunnersville.

In the meantime, check out the duo’s intoxicating ‘Glimmer’ EP released last October. Reviewed by The Line Of Best Fit, they said:

“White Flowers careen into the spotlight with arguably one of this year’s strongest debuts. Otherworldly soundscapes, intelligent textures and piercing vocals make “Glimmer” and the band themselves very hard to ignore”.
