Top 6 You Me At Six Videos

You me at six will be headlining gunnersville on sunday 8th september with a very special two hour set of all of their singles in chronological order.

Since forming in 2004, You Me At Six have released six albums, each spawning a bunch of hits to be found blasting out of a radio near you.

Now that the band are ‘Back Again’, we can’t wait to hear them play every single one in Gunnersbury Park this September. That’s why we’re counting down their Top 6 Videos from throughout their career to get us in the mood.

What’s your favourite YMAS video? What track are you looking forward to seeing live? Let us know on Facebook, Twitter or Insta.

1. ‘Save It For The Bedroom’

We love the video for this early classic from the You Me At Six’s debut album ‘Take Off Your Colours’ for its retro vibes. The band appear as various guests on the trashy fictional talk show, Lazarus Ironside. Watch as Josh, Chris, Max, Matt and Dan get dressed up in wigs and flat caps and no clothes at all to tackle subjects like, ‘I suspect my husband is having an affair…with the dog!’.

2.’Stay With me’

In the golden hills of Chatsworth, California something very strange is happening. People are burying tambourines, books and photos in the ground and they’re growing into humans!  We dare you to watch this video for ‘Stay With Me’ – taken from YMA6’s second album ‘Hold Me Down’ – and not shed a tear or crack a smile.

3. ‘bite my tongue’

You Me At Six embraced the dark side in the video for ‘Bite My Tongue’ taken from their third album, ‘Sinners Never Sleep’. Watch as Josh transforms into an evil puppet master who controls the rest of the band from behind a booth.

But, who is really in control? With a guest appearance from Ollie Sykes, the track’s venom is switched up to 11 in this twisted video.

4. ‘Fresh Start fever’

Strap yourself in to ride shotgun with a troubled speedway rider in the video for ‘Fresh Start Fever’. It’s a nail biting story as the rider has to choose between riding in a race injured or walking away. Watch out for cameos from the band in this video for the second single from ‘Cavalier Youth’.

5. ‘swear’

For a taste of what you can expect at Gunnersville you need to watch the video for ‘Swear’. Filmed at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London you can feel the energy from the band and the crowd in this electric live performance video. You know you want to hit ‘play’ to relive this anthem from the band’s fifth album, ‘Night People’.

6. ‘3AM’

Bringing you bang-up-to-date and straight onto the dancefloor is certified banger ‘3AM’ from You Me At Six’s most recent album, ‘VI’. Inspired by The Wolf Of Wall Street you join front man Josh on two very different versions of the same night out. Repeat watch the choreographed dance routine, featuring all of the band, and start practising those moves for Gunnersville.
