Doves, The Specials and You Me At Six announced for Gunnersville Concert Series
A new tented concert series is coming to Gunnersbury Park on 6th – 8th September.

Gunnersville is here to make your summer last that little bit longer.
Located in the beautiful Gunnersbury Park at Gunnersville you can experience the intimacy of a concert with the atmosphere of a festival at Gunnersville.
Alongside spectacular music, craft beers, local ales, Summer wines and delectable Street food offerings will also be available to enjoy.
Headlining the opening night of Gunnersville on Friday 6th September are Manchester legends, Doves. Earlier this year Mercury-nominated trio made a much celebrated return to live music after a 10 year hiatus
With two UK number one albums and countless indie anthems, Doves’ headline show in Gunnersville’s big top is set to be unmissable. Expect the roof to be raised to hits, such as ‘Black and White Town’, ‘There Goes The Fear’ and “Kingdom Of Rust’.
Joining Doves on Friday 9th September are special guests Echo & The Bunnymen and Badly Drawn Boy. Liverpool legends Echo & The Bunnymen have racked up hit after hit throughout their four decade career. Their timeless classics, like ‘The Killing Moon’, ‘The Cutter’, ‘Seven Seas’ and ‘Lips Like Sugar’ will sound epic in Gunnersbury Park.
Renowned singer songwriter Damon Gough, aka Badly Drawn Boy, has had multiple top 10 albums throughout his career. The Mercury Prize nominated artist will be bringing fan favourites like ‘Something to Talk About’ and ‘Once Around The Block’ to Gunnersville.
British ska legends The Specials will headline Saturday 7th September at Gunnersville. Four decades on since they originally formed, The Specials are still at the peak of their powers.
Earlier this year the band released the critically-acclaimed number one album, ‘Encore’, cementing their reputation as one of the most vital bands in the history of UK music.
Their headline show at Gunnersville is set to be equally iconic with hits that span generations. Expect to hear classics like ‘Ghost Town’, ‘A Message To You Rudy’ and “Too Much Too Young’ as well as new anthems for our time, ‘Vote For Me’ and ‘Embarrassed By You’.
The Specials will be joined by special guests Ocean Colour Scene. One of the leading leading bands of the mid- ‘90s British rock scene, Ocean Colour Scene are still smashing it with their unique blend of psych, soul and blues. With four UK top 10 albums, including the iconic ‘Moseley Shoals’, the band’s set at Gunnersville is going to be all hits no filler.
Also joining the line up are General Roots – one of the most exciting reggae acts to come out of the UK in the last 10 years. Plus, South Yorkshire up-and-comers, The Blinders, who’ve been ripping up the live music scene with their raucous psychedelic punk.
You Me At Six
On Sunday 8th September, You Me At Six, will close Gunnersville with their biggest headline London show to date. It’s going to be a special show as the band will make musical history with an exclusive set compiled of each of their singles, played in chronological order.
With an incredible five top 10 UK albums, you can expect to hear early hits like ‘Save It For The Bedroom’ through to new favourites like ‘Back Again’.
Josh Franceschi: “We wanted to celebrate a pretty mad 18 months for us as a band so when Gunnersville approached us to headline one of the days we knew straight away what we wanted to do. To celebrate the new era of YMA6 we are going to play all our singles in order. From ‘Take Off Your Colours’ to ‘VI’! It’s gonna be a hell of a night and the line-up is amazing. We can’t wait!”.
It’s going to be a huge day at Gunnersville as six other bands will join You Me At Six in Gunnersbury Park.
Jimmy Eat World will have the tent bouncing to massive alt rock anthems, like ‘The Middle’, ‘Sweetness’, and ‘Hear You Me’. Newfound indie heroes Sundara Karma will whisk you away with their dreamy psych pop. Whilst, You Me At Six tour buddies, Deaf Havana, join the bill fresh from scoring their second UK Top 10 album with ‘Rituals’.
Also, coming to Gunnersville on Sunday 8th September are The Maine, As It Is and Milk Teeth.
